Teen Wolf (1985) - Review★★★★★ July 27, 2026 It’s hard to watch this movie without feeling like I’d rather watch Back To The Future. I do like the father/son stuff but the rest of it feels a little flat.
For Love or Money - Review★★★★★ July 21, 2026 As much as it pains me to give a Michael J. Fox movie such a low rating, I have to be honest. The writing is atrocious and neither of the two main characters is very…
The Secret of My Success - Review★★★★★ July 20, 2026 What an extremely underrated movie. The shot compositions and the editing makes the film feel fresh even after all these years. Not to mention the soundtrack, which…
A Few Good Men - Review★★★★★ July 16, 2026 Incredible performances across the board. Very well written as well. You can’t handle the truth!
Cobra (1986) - Review★★★★★ July 15, 2026 Cobra is a movie that I’ve always wanted to watch. I was always intrigued by the artwork and the concept. Is he a bad guy? Is he a cop? Is he a punisher rip-off? Who…

Enemy of the State — Review★★★★★ July 15, 2026 This one has aged scarily well. What seemed like sci-fi 30 years ago now can be done with a smartphone. Besides that, its also a well written political thriller. Very…

Unforgiven - Review★★★★★ May 16, 2026 Unforgiven is a grounded and brutally honest Western. Instead of glorifying gunfighters, the film strips the myth away and shows how ugly and difficult violence…
The Quick and The Dead - Review★★★★★ May 14, 2026 Sam Raimi’s The Quick and the Dead is a strange Western. Coming off a run of more traditional or serious films in the genre, it was pretty jarring to me at first. Raimi…
Legends of the Fall - Review★★★★★ May 13, 2026 Contains spoilers The movie leans way too heavily into melodrama. It feels like a soap opera set in against the Montana landscape. The love triangle (square?) between…
Dances With Wolves - Review★★★★★ May 11, 2026 Contains spoilers After watching a few morally gray revenge stories, Dances with Wolves slows everything down and actually lets you live with the characters. For the…
Tombstone - Review★★★★★ May 9, 2026 There’s something refreshing about a western that just wants to be a western. After spending time with films that deconstruct the myth of the West, Tombstone is a movie…
The Outlaw Josey Wales - Review★★★★★ May 8, 2026 Clint, you’re a badass actor and director. I’ve seen other movies of yours that have become my all time favorites. But I reckon this one doesn’t make the cut. The…
Once Upon A Time In The West - Review★★★★★ May 7, 2026 So I’ve finally reached a movie on the list that I hadn’t previously watched before. I’m a huge fan of Sergio Leone’s Once Upon A Time In America, so I was excited to…
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - Review★★★★★ May 6, 2026 The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was a movie I’d only seen once, over a decade ago, and at the time I remember preferring For a Few Dollars More. Revisiting it now, I was…
For a Few Dollars More - Review★★★★★ May 5, 2026 Contains spoilers I actually watched For a Few Dollars More about 10-15 years ago, but I only remembered that it was confusing and had a great ending. Revisiting it now…
The Magnificent Seven (1960) - Review★★★★★ May 4, 2026 The Magnificent Seven has always been my personal benchmark for the genre. It was the first Western I remember watching (about 20 years ago in middle school film club)…
